(full-time only)Earn PTO+ for every quarter of perfect attendance (full-time only)6 Observed Holidays with premium pay or leave + 1 Floating Holiday for full-time employeesUp to $5,000 per in tuition/education reimbursement per calendar year for approved program of studyTake home up to 75% of your net earned wages at the end of every shift401(k) Retirement plan with company-matched contributions after 1 year of employmentMedical (Teledoc Included), Dental, Vision, Life and other voluntary Insurances for full-time employeesHave fun with contests and employee appreciation events every monthEssential Functions of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with Company Clinical Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines and regulationsAdministers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with center policyMust demonstrate knowledge of "five rights" of medication administrationAdministers and records all medication given to residents based upon their specific chartNotifies appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.May take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medicationsRecords the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately, utilizing the computer system to enter and reference resident information as neededAnswers resident call lights, anticipates resident's needs and makes rounds to assigned resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse or charge nurse on the shiftObserves for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shiftPerforms all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errorsSupport and maintains a culture of safety and qualityAdministers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with center policyReports and when appropriate, records any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidentsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):High School diploma or general equivalency is preferredSix months experience in a long-term care environment is preferredRequired valid certification as a CMT in the state of MissouriCandidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situationsAbility to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staffBasic computer knowledgeAble to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingAdditional languages preferredEEO Statement:Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
