Program Specifics:

Start Career Path in a Mercy St Louis Med Surg Dept
Available Units: Observation Telemetry, Medical Surgical, Neuroscience, Neurosurgical, or Trauma Surgical
Successfully complete 10 week Med Surg Residency
Approx. 12 month commitment to Med Surg unit (post Residency)
Working on unit as an RN
Automatic transfer to Mercy St Louis Float Pool with support and guidance from Nurse Managers

Qualifications:

Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
