--- Coverage Needed

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing --- Schedule
  • One week per month
  • Clinic/office: 8a-4p
  • Call: 4p-9a --- Clinical Details
    • The expectation would be the coverage would be office/surgery based during day shift, then be available for coverage after office shifts, with some urgent surgical intervention during office hours
    • Patient Population Mix: Adult (18+), Geriatrics
    • 24/7 call, inpatient rounding, emergency surgery, may occasionally assist vascular surgeon in surgery for additional help
    • Level II Trauma Center
    • Number of beds: 329 --- Requirements
      • Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
      • Certified RPVI
      • Completed General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship
      • Active Illinois license - Preferred
        • or IMLC LOQ
        • BLS (AHA) Certification
        • Clean and easy-to-credential candidates - Highly Preferred
        • Needs to be comfortable with and have case logs for all listed procedures/surgeries: Peripheral Angiograms, Vascular Bypass, AAA Repair, Carotid surgery, open and endovascular techniques --- Call
          • 24-hour call --- Support Staff
            • 2 Vascular Surgeons, 1 APP --- EMR
              • Epic
