Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9-hour days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year critical care and catheterization lab experience License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience, catheterization lab experience Job Description: - Perform circulating, medication administration, and patient monitoring for various cardiac procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations and peripheral cases. - Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 6-7 times per month, handling STEMIs, emergent catheterizations, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker placements. - Utilize medical equipment such as EPIC and Pyxis effectively. - Work within a team environment, always accompanied by at least two other team members. - Adhere to a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 in the catheterization lab. - Comply with the dress code by wearing hospital-issued scrubs. - Attend a one-week orientation for experienced agency staff. - Be available to work weekends as required, every sixth weekend. Additional Information: - Orientation consists of 12 non-billable hours. - Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. - Local candidates are welcomed and accepted. - Candidates are required to produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
